The Supreme Public Prosecution has successful cooperation with the Council of Europe, both with international bodies/networks of the Council of Europe, and with the Office of the Council of Europe in Belgrade.

Within the Council of Europe, representatives of the Supreme Public Prosecution participate in the work of the CCPE - Consultative Council of European Prosecutors, as well as in the work of the T-CY Bureau of the Committee of the "Budapest" Convention for high-tech crime of the Council of Europe and in the implementation of international projects of the Council of Europe in the fight against high-tech crime: "Global Action against Cyber Crime +" (GLACY+) and "IProceeds" projects on asset forfeiture in high-tech crime cases.

Also, the Supreme Public Prosecution participated and participates in the realization of projects and activities with the Office of the Council of Europe in Belgrade, such as the project "Prevention of money laundering and financing of terrorism in the Republic of Serbia", "Support for judicial reforms in Serbia", "Strengthening of effective legal means for preventing violations of human rights in Serbia", "HELP in the Western Balkans" (HELP distance learning course "International legal assistance in criminal matters - Serbia"), as well as other projects implemented within the framework of the joint program of the European Union and the Council of Europe "Horizontal Facility for Western Balkans and Turkey 2019-2022"

The cooperation with the Council of Europe continues also through the participation of representatives of the public prosecution at thematic conferences, workshops, study visits and meetings organized by this international organization on the efficient implementation of the European Convention on Human Rights, harmonization of the practice of domestic judicial institutions with the practice of the European Court of Human Rights, execution of judgments of the European Court of Human Rights against Serbia, access to justice, trial within a reasonable time and other topics in the area of human rights.
